As we near closer towards the end of the year, Luksea's Founder and CEO Nicole McMahon personally shares this update with us. Read on to discover what's been happening behind the scenes and find out what's coming up next for the company. 

Isn't it amazing that we are already in December and summer has arrived in Australia!

While this year has taken many twists and turns with the global pandemic, I'm excited to share that at Luksea we have continued to make significant progress towards our goals.

The past few months have been massive for Luksea, with our hardware and software development team working diligently on product Research and Development. I can also announce that Luksea now has a workable prototype which has not been a simple feat.

As you may know, Luksea features an app which connects your phone to the wearable and other device users, which is the result of great effort from the software and graphics team to produce this solution. The SAAS platform for the B2B clients is also under development and is already looking fantastic.

The social channels are growing daily with many new supporters, due to the amazing work from the marketing team and the brand is really coming along. Luksea's team is moving closer every day to assist the global community with connectivity on their adventures.

Over the coming weeks, Luksea's team will be testing the product with the Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia and gathering crucial feedback, leading up to a strong product launch. We believe this is just around the corner and plan to gather invaluable data in the testing phase this summer.

On the team front, Luksea has another new team member who joined us in October Holly Hall, who has jumped in and adapted to the role. Holly is a great addition to an already strong and driven team to have this product out there in the market for you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to personally thank our partners, namely the NSW Government, Surf Life Saving Australia, UNSW and UNSW Founders, Alaska Guide, Neil Rogers - Olympian and 5 beaches ocean swim organiser, Evans Fishing Tackle, Bushcare Woollahra and Woollahra Municipal Council. We are truly grateful for your input and for testing Luksea to make this product a great support on your adventures.

The team has worked incredibly hard with the handover for the Government and am pleased to share with their ongoing support and mentoring, Luksea delivered a successful result. Throughout this process there have been many people working in the background including Mario Santoro in Finance and Bill Kalantzis Legal council, not to mention the amazing Michael Feliciano who really made it happen for us to kick our goals. I want to thank you all as well as my dear friends and family for your ongoing encouragement and support for Luksea. 

So what’s next? Luksea has just launched our travel blog and the team is moving onto the next stages of product development. Luksea has received some incredible feedback from our recent email survey and we are absolutely thrilled with all of your suggestions, feedback and kind words.

The team is now strong and we are very blessed to have such a great USA ambassador on the team Luke. We love the content you share with us weekly, from awe-inspiring landscapes, to action adventure and wildlife encounters including dolphin videos you send our way.

The sky is the limit for Luksea and we are looking forward to sharing with you next month's adventures.
